Danny Boy

Hi, Not too long after I wrote you, I discovered a lump in his neck. It turned out to by Thyroid Cancer. It was already in his lungs. I lost my Danny Boy on 1-25-03. I can't tell you how much I miss him. I've been looking for another tripod Boxer so if you ever hear of one, please let me know. Distance is of no concern (within the 48 that is). So that's why I never sent you the pics.
I've attached a couple of pics taken after his diagnosis. They're not the best quality, but I at least wanted you to see him-- he was very loved. It was amazing what he was capable of with only three legs. One of these days I'll have a website up with some good pics of him. Heaven knows he had to be one of the most photographed dogs on Earth! But mom is too far behind the times with her outdated computer that can't handle large files, so not many pics on line.
As you can see, he didn't like baths and had to "undo" them as quickly as possible. And he loved frisbee! Anyway, thanks for asking. And I'm really serious about if you ever hear of another. I have three Boxers now, but there is a place and name reserved for another tripod.
Thanks for asking,
Sharon
