Three Legged Dog Club
Cassie's Club Members

Milo

Hi Cassie,
Three weeks ago we finally met the qualifications to join your club. Although it was not the first time our dog, Milo, got off the leash and took off running, this time he crossed the street towards the park, and did not make it and got hit by a car.

His body was sent out flying, but he did survive.

We are very happy to have him alive, but he had to have his front right leg amputated. We did not know what to expect, but everybody told us how fast he was going to recover and be back to normal.

Now, only three weeks after the amputation, Milo is back to normal and a very happy dog. He is a male chocolate labrador. He is very spoiled and loved. He is 5.5 years old. He is definitely the friendliest dog we know, because he loves everyone (people and dogs alike) indiscriminately, even if he is not loved back.

I was very nervous about the recovery and adjustment period, even though it only took a couple of weeks, therefore I decided to create This blog to document his day-to-day progress, and sometimes setbacks.

Milo looks forward to being a member of your club.

Tyler

First of all, let me tell you your website has been such an inspiration to me. I have a Golden Retriever/ Yellow Lab mix named Tyler.

Tyler is 11 years old and just recently had his leg amputated
due to a hermangiopericytoma tumor on his left leg.

I was so nervous about the surgery and how he would be after,
and I came across your website and found so much strength and inspiration.

It has been a week since the surgery and Tyler is doing fantastic.

He is hopping all over the place and is so happy.
